Sincere Gratitude to Technology

27 Mar

My sincere gratitude for the inventor of internet and the founding father of Google. Can you imagine internet world without Google? 🙂

Due to his and my daily routine, also the fact that we still love using public transport instead of private one, our access to visit W vendors is very limited. Ofcourse we couldn’t visit every W vendors available in the city, it’s very time consuming.

Our trick is to visit every available website of W vendors, make fair comparison based on their published portfolio, then communicate with the marketing person of the chosen W vendor via email / phone. If everything goes according to plan, then me and uhm Fiance 😉 visit their physical place.

In our point of view, this strategy is very time efficient, we only visit W vendors who match with our interest and budget. Back and forth communication only within a handheld. Less cost, less time spent, less energy wasted.

The minus is our choice will be limited to W vendors who have virtual presence, as in website or blogpost review. There might be W vendors out there who have better portfolio that could offer less cost.

For the record we only physically visited 1 vendor of W ring (no other choice, they’re the best), 1 vendor of W dress (include make up), 2 vendors of W invitation, 2 vendors of W souvenir, and 3 places of W venue (include decoration and catering). Within a month, we’ve made our choice.

There’s trade off in every available option. There’s risk in every action. It’s our choice to choose which option cause more plus than minus. How’s your W preparation story? 🙂

So I (Finally) Said Yes

18 Mar

After the question popped 4 years ago…

After the intervention by my lovely uncles and aunties 2 years ago…

After I finally felt ready…

He finally set the date.

He finally asked for my parents’ permission.

He finally asked for my uncles’ and aunties’ blessing.

Both of our family are finally met.

May it goes smoothly until the W day, and we stay together in good and bad M days until death set us part.

Love you always, husband-to-be. :*

Above The Cloud Part 2

31 Jan

Some people say about traveling;
Young people have the energy, have the time, don’t have the money.
Adult people have the energy, don’t have the time, have the money,
Old people don’t have the energy, have the time, have the money.
That’s why wise people suggest, just travel whenever we can, we only young once.

Currently, me and boyfriend are in the mixed of first and second category. We’re still sooo young at age 😉 so we have the energy, but we don’t have the time to travel far. We’re also on a tight budget this year. So every little leisure does count, even if it’s only chasing “Country above the cloud” in the middle of the city. Yes, I wrote it right, we can be above the cloud in the middle of the city.

A few weekends ago, we went to this restaurant above Jakarta’s skyscraper. Not to chase the hype, or because we’re so up to date. But because we’ve been longing to continue our “Country above the cloud” quest, but we couldn’t (read related post in here). We have the energy, but we don’t have time and money.

So, voila. Above the cloud, in the middle of city instead of peak of a mountain, same happiness.

No matter where we are, as long as we’re with the people we love, we’re at bliss.

Karimun Jawa [1]: Thank God, I’m Alive

30 Nov

Enough with death story, karena Karimun Jawa baguuuss banget jadi tujuan wisata.

Dingin, sejuk, udaranya masih fresh. Ajakan weekend gateaway dari BF kali itu naik gunung ke Dataran Tinggi Dieng bareng rombongan backpacker Bandung, pucuk dicinta ulam tiba.

Jarang-jarang saya naik gunung yg beneran naik gunung.

Home is not where the house is, home is where the heart is. She sets her heart to Dieng. I fancy Dieng, but it isn’t my home. I’m gonna find my own Negeri di Atas Awan. What about you?

Happy Birthday, Beb! :)

Wish you all the best, beb. ❤
