I rather choose to watch thriller movie about bloods and massacres or something like these than to watch ghosts and supranaturals. Freddy & Jason? Count me in.
I used to read synopsises or reviews about movies first then I watched the movies. So I used to have some expectations or something in mind when I watched them, never clueless about the movies. That means less surprises and less bad movies to watch.
But I didn’t do the habit recently. I just read the title, saw the poster, knew who the casts are, that were enough for me to decide whether to watch the movie or not. Like this movie, Jennifer’s Body.
The casts are Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried and Adam Brody, and others who I didn’t knew of. DVD cover shows bloods come out from Fox’ body, she wears cheerleader custome, with dark-mysterious jungle as the background. It definitely won’t be any kind of ghost movie, right?
And it isn’t. It tells us about 2 young teenagers’ life after watching a not-yet-famous band performance in a bar at their town. Their life is changing, into-unpredictable-yet-scarry-one, and the band is also changing, to become famous, real famous, somehow.
To be noted, don’t expect something from Fox’ acts, she wasn’t acting, just bitching around like she did in How to Lose Friends & Alienate People movie. Seyfried acts was something, I think. At least, she did the best she could do in this movie, her better acts than in Mamma Mia! or Dear John movie. And Adam Brody.. hmm. He got this weird character yet I also didn’t move by his acts.
And for you who haven’t watch this movie, you have to. This movie teaches us about friendship, whether our BFF is really a best friend or not, how friendship could affect us, the meaning of friendship, and especially what should we do when our bestfriend wants to kill our boyfriend.
(for girls) Don’t easily admit our virginity to any strangers, especially if we’re not virgins anymore, if we don’t want to ended up sharing our body with devil.
(for boys) Don’t easily believe about any girls’ virginity, especially if you never met this girl before, if you don’t want to ended up beaten by the devil.
