Do you know what Haemophilia is? For you who don’t, it’s a genetic disease that attacks body’s ability to control blood clotting, causing blood unable to stop bleeding when the vessel is broken.
The famous case of Haemophilia was found in Russian Monarchy back in Tsar Nicholas II’s era (early 20c), whose son suffered Haemophilia, thus brought the monarchy to end. Yes, this disease likely to strike The Royalty because of their habit to marry their relatives.
The closest the relationship of relatives we marry, the greater chance our future kids could be mutants, especially if the woman in the relationship is untraceably the carrier of the disease. Believe me, this mutation is way not as cool as we see in X-Men movies.
According to TempoDulu in his unthinkable-creative-post we are somewhat related to other people who have the same race and live in the same country with us. They might not be our close relatives, but our ancestors must have been related somehow. Because if not, think of how many possible humans live on earth.
If we are currently in a serious relationship with same originated people, think twice to carry on to the next stage. I know it’s not like we’re going to marry our own cousins, not many of us do this as much as our parents’ generation. But still, same race same country means possibilty to be related.
Long story short, we better think to marry foreigners rather than to other Indonesian passport holders if we don’t want our predecessors to carry on Haemophilia or other genetic diseases. And no, Malaysians are still not options for us :p
Oh. Have a wonderful year ahead dear beloved readers
Happy new year!
